    Certainly useful for massaging muscles and it makes you realise how tight some areas of your body are! Takes a bit of time to practice using it effectively – you need to experiment a bit with it to find the best way for you to use it and look at the videos showing you how to use it too.

    I find that using the 30cm roller is much better for working on my inner thighs than the 90cm roller. I find the 90cm roller too long to work the inner thighs and I get all in a muddle. It also works well on the front and back if you want to take it on holiday with you.

      Hi Lisa. In the DRT programs, there is only one stretch that you might use a longer foam roller for. But instead you can substitute with a rolled up yoga mat, or a rolled up towel to lie your spine on it for that one stretch. Every other movement is suitable with the short 30cm roller.

    It’s to short. It would have been much better with a longer one even if it’s more expensive. Now I bought something that I can’t really use for the exercises and I have to buy yet another one.

    This is my first ever foam roller, but it looks very similar to those selected by one of my more experienced sporty friends (who always buys the best quality she can). Nice subtle branding and just the right level of firmness too: I feel supported when using it. The size is really convenient. It arrived by post and I can use it for the exercises required. It then it stows (with my resistance bands) in a bag behind my door when not in use .
